Terra Bookings Vendor Guidelines, Rules & Regulations

Introduction

Welcome to Terra Bookings! We are excited to have you as a vendor on our platform. By listing your services on Terra Bookings, you agree to adhere to the following guidelines and regulations to ensure a smooth, professional, and secure experience for both you and our users.

Vendor Requirements

  • Account Registration: Vendors must register an account on Terra Bookings and complete all necessary verification processes to begin listing services.
  • Service Listings: All services offered by vendors must be accurate, well-detailed, and clearly entered within the correct category (e.g., flights, accommodations, transport, leisure activities, car rentals, boat rentals, etc.).
  • Pricing Transparency: Prices listed must be clear, up-to-date, and inclusive of all fees and taxes. Vendors should not list any hidden charges.
  • Service Quality: Vendors are expected to maintain a high standard of service quality, as reflected in the descriptions, photos, and user reviews.
  • Availability: Vendors must regularly update availability to ensure that their listings are accurate and customers can easily make bookings.
  • Customer Support: Vendors are responsible for providing timely, responsive customer support for any inquiries or issues related to their services.

Vendor Rules and Regulations

1.   Prohibited Content:

o    Vendors must not engage in any activity that violates local laws or Terra Bookings’ policies.

o    Any misleading, offensive, or inappropriate content is prohibited, including false advertising or discriminatory behavior.        

                                                                                                                      

2.    Service Cancellations:

o    Vendors must clearly outline cancellation policies on each service listing. Cancellations must be processed promptly, and the vendor must follow the agreed-upon policies.

3.   Refunds:                                                                                                        Vendors are required to process refunds according to our policies and the terms agreed upon at the time of booking. Terra Bookings may intervene if the vendor fails to honor refund requests. The Vendor is fully responsible for refunds in cases of service non-fulfillment, cancellation, or any other valid reason determined by Terra Bookings. Upon request, refunds must be processed within 24 hours. Terra Bookings reserves the right to issue refunds directly to customers and deduct the corresponding amount from the Vendor’s pending payouts

4.   Service Delivery:

o    Vendors are required to fulfill bookings as agreed, including providing the exact service as described in their listing. Any modifications to the service should be communicated to the customer promptly.

5.   Insurance & Liability:

o    Vendors offering transport, accommodation, or leisure activities should ensure they have the proper insurance coverage. Terra Bookings will not be liable for accidents or incidents related to vendor services.

Commission

Terra Bookings charges a commission on each successful booking made through our platform. This structure is designed to ensure fairness and support the growth of your business while maintaining the quality of our services.

Vendor Payouts:

  • Payment Processing Fees: Vendors will be charged a nominal processing fee for each transaction, which will be deducted from the payout.
  • Payout Cycle: Vendors will receive payments on a weekly basis. The minimum payout threshold is 30,000 Naira (or equivalent in local currency).
  • Payment Methods: Payments will be made via bank transfer, or another payment provider as agreed upon during registration.

Discounts & Promotional Offers:

  • Vendor-Specific Promotions: Vendors may offer discounts and special deals for users (e.g., "10% off for first-time users"). The vendor will still be responsible for paying the agreed commission based on the original price of the service.
  • Terra Bookings Promotions: When participating in Terra Bookings’ promotional campaigns (e.g., Flash Sales, Seasonal Discounts), the commission may still apply based on the promotional price.

Vendor Performance and Penalties

  • Rating and Performance: Vendor performance is tracked through ratings, user feedback, and fulfillment of bookings. Poor performance may lead to reduced visibility on the platform or removal from the marketplace.
  • Late Cancellations/No-Shows: Vendors who consistently cancel bookings late or fail to provide services may face penalties, including account suspension.
  • Fraudulent Activity: Any fraudulent activity, such as offering fake services or misrepresenting information, will result in immediate removal from Terra Bookings and may lead to legal action.
